Back in 2004, the internet became a revolutionary yet technical addition to people’s lives globally. Patrick Howard knew his entrepreneurial skills could take the stress of companies’ hands by growing their online presence and exceeding customer expectations. With this, digital agency – The Web Co – was brought to life. 

Throughout the past 17 years, The Web Co has evolved into a successful agency offering web development and design, as well as a plethora of digital marketing services. Providing honest solutions to businesses, small and large, The Web Co’s experts discover the “why” of businesses and highlight this to their target audience.

With more than 30 team members, the team aren’t just employees to Patrick, they have become family. Throughout the years, the company has expanded, creating other brands –  TWC Connect, TWC Results, Evolution Smart Software and Token Network.

However, this wasn’t where Patrick’s entrerprenuearal nature started. Born in Dargaville, New Zealand, by the age of 13, Patrick was working three part time jobs a week to support himself, and help his solo Mother and six siblings. After he left school, Partick did external studies in Horticulture, eventually managing kiwifruit and Pip and Stone fruit orchards. 

By the early nineties, Patrick had started his own business in property management, which he later sold to start a venture in Sawmilling. Selling this business in 2004, this is when The Web Co was born. 

Patrick Howard’s broad variation of business start ups shows his skills aren’t industry specific – as a born entrepreneur, he picks up on opportunities and gaps in the market, and simply knows how business works. Patrick focuses on bringing his team mates along for the journey, thriving on seeing them succeed along the way.
