Patrick Howard

Executive Biography

Patrick Howard is a New Zealand entrepreneur and founder of The Web Company NZ Limited, a digital agency established in 2004.

Recognising early the impact the internet would have on business operations and customer engagement, Patrick founded The Web Company to help organisations establish and strengthen their online presence. Since its founding, he has led the company’s growth into an established digital agency providing web development, digital platform engineering, and ongoing support services to businesses across a wide range of industries.

Patrick was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and has family roots in Croatia, maintaining close personal and cultural ties there. He developed a strong work ethic from an early age and, after leaving school, undertook external studies in horticulture. He went on to work in orchard management, overseeing kiwifruit, pipfruit, and stone fruit operations.

In the early 1990s, Patrick established a property management business, which he later sold before entering the sawmilling industry. Following the successful sale of that venture in 2004, he founded The Web Company, applying his business experience to the emerging digital sector.

Patrick has since focused on building sustainable businesses, supporting clients with practical digital solutions, and developing long-term professional relationships based on reliability and consistent delivery.
